Children traveling with Grandparents

In a few weeks my DDs will be flying into the UK with their Grandparents. All British citizens, although we have been living abroad (this is us moving back to UK.

Besides a letter from DH and I giving permission for travel, are they likely to be asked for anything else? It will be through Manchester airport if anyone has experienced of immigration there.

They might not get asked at all but best to be prepared. I'd recommend the letter and their birth certificates (to prove you are their parents)
