Can anyone help me with lastminute.com, they haven't booked a flight for my baby!

So I stupidly booked my flight to Toulon through lastminute.com. I had to wait three days until they actually confirmed that my flights were booked, but confirmation came through, all good I thought!

My booking on Lastminute.com specifies 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. However, when I checked the airline website to see when I can check in online, they only have a booking for 3 adults (under the 2 adult and 1 child name). I have spoken to the airline twice, who have referred me back to lastminute.com, but lastminute.com say that they are waiting to hear back from the airline and i just have to wait, and I've now been waiting five days.

I fly in 6 days, and I want to make sure that my baby will be allowed on the plane with us!!

Anyone had any experience with lastminute.com? anyone got any ideas how I can speed up a resolution??? I have so far managed to refrain from getting all shouty!

Tweeting companies who're not giving adequate customer service can be useful, as it's public, so gets more reaction:

@lastminute_com

Thank you...I'm not on Twitter...is Facebook as good or shall I join Twitter?

The baby will definitely be able to fly as he/she doesn’t require a seat. So worst case scenario you will have to buy a new infant ticket (usually 10% of the fare plus a bit of tax) at the airport. Keep the receipt and file a complaint with the travel agent. I work for an airline and I’ve seen this happen (unticketed infants) many times. Because an infant doesn’t take a seat, they won’t be listed as a seat-taking passenger on a reservation. They are just attached to an adult name field. But they still need a ticket number. How many ticket numbers do you have? Which airline is it?
