I'm off to Thailand in August and staying at Elephant Hills. A little worried about coming face to face with big spiders. Anyone experienced this and should I be worried?

Hi @Help1234567890, we're just giving this thread a bump for you in case there are any Mumsnetters on hand to give you a bit of advice. We're also moving it over to the Longhaul travel section.

We had no trouble with big spiders. If you do the trek, there is a cave you can go into. - Don’t go into the cave Grin
It was an absolutely brilliant place. So worth the money and time. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
The tents were quite luxurious.

Didn't see any spiders or other crawlies. A fair few mozzies, but nothing crawling

You'll love it. Its fabulous
