In hold suitcases

I am going on holiday with DH and 2 children and have booked 2 suitcases for hold luggage plus carry on bags.
Our plans have altered a bit and my DH is now not on the return flight with me so I will need to take both suitcases back with me on the flight.
Is there any issue with 1 adult and 2 piece hold luggage? Flight is EasyJet. Thanks

As far as i am aware hold luggage isn't linked to the number of adults travelling. If you have paid for them you can take them. My DD has brought 2 hold bags alone on Easyjet when coming back from uni.
