Japan flights

Hi all,

Currently researching next year's holiday to Japan. I've found a flight from Heathrow to Tokyo and then back from Osaka to Heathrow direct with British Airways for £780 per person. Is this reasonable or expensive? I've been keeping my eye on it to see whether it's gone up or down over the last two weeks but just wondered if anyone more knowledgeable could tell me whether that was a good price or not. Thanks.

We're going in 2 weeks and paid nearly £1000 so I would say that's quite good.

That's a pretty good fare price wise.

Reasonable. Ours were £660 last April, and via Schiphol. Enjoy!

For direct flights, that is good.

What time of year? That sounds pretty good value to me - I have paid nearly £1k for flights this summer, KLM from our local airport via Amsterdam, and similar last year round Easter time. You can usually get good deals in unpopular months like February, but if you are looking at pretty much any time from March to September that is a good price.

It's going on the 16/5 and returning 30/5.

I'd say there is a very small chance prices for May could drop if you wait but a much higher chance they will go up, so I would grab those flights now.

Great value.
I would advise against flying with LOT to Japan, we did that last April and it felt like sardines in a tin!
