Where to stay on Rhodes?

Going to Rhodes for a week in late August. Want to spend about £1000 for 7 nights self catering. 3 people. Two bedrooms would be ideal, but a bedroom and sofa bed fine.

Any ideas?

Really like the look of Lindos, but is it too packed full of package holiday trippers? Is it expensive as a town?

Lindos is beautiful but will be very busy and very hot in August. It’ll be full of package holiday trippers wherever you go on Rhodes in August but they aren’t a different breed, they’ll be doing much the same as you.

Yes. It’s a shame it’s going to be super touristy, but then flights were super cheap so what do we expect!

Pefkos is next door to lindos but you can get the bus or taxi into the village.
