I'm looking for ideas for a day out in early septeber with a 18m/o and his GPs. Not bristol zoo tho as we are going there later in the month. Boy likes looking at tractors and animals and loves slides and swings trampolines and puddles.

Any ideas?

City farm at WIndmill Hill

Horse World is fab! Love it. Great for los as well. Noah's Ark is ok, lots of animals, but probably VERY muddy atm!

Avon Valley Country Park between Bristol and Bath is lovely. Some animals, lovley walk, bouncy castle area (undercover) and climbing frame(might be a bit 'big' for 18month), though rest is lovely.

Have you checked out Mumsnet Local?

There'll be lots of other listings for that area too.
