Anyone been? What’s it like? Looking at going with DH and DC (8 and 5) in July.

I haven’t but have been to the nearby Syros, and am going to Tinos in July. I like the group of islands (excluding Mykonos). Have you been to the Cyclades before?

No never been... wondering if it’s really worth the overnight stay in Santorini + ferry etc with the kids. And whether there’ll be enough to do....

Or if we’d be better off keeping it a bit more straightforward somewhere else............

Santorini gets packed it's better for adults. Hot and tiring and busy and crowded for kids

Well it’s only 1 night in Santorini due to flight and ferry times but just seems a bit of a faff.
