Firstly I must explain we are complete novices with either camping or caravan holidays. We have booked an RV for 7 days to drive around Lake Michigan with 3 DC, 12, 10 and 9 in October.
I have some fairly naive questions. We have booked a 30ft C30 I think it is called with generator, 150l full water tank, towels and sheets etc all included.
With this is mind would we need to plug in at every campsite? Or would the generator last us for the week?
How long would the water last us - probably showering daily.
Would we need to empty the sewage? Is this straightforward?
I am trying to book campsites at the moment so need to work out what facilities we would need.
When you are driving through smaller towns is it easy to find somewhere to park for lunch/attractions? Do you generally bbq in the evenings? I am thinking about the weather and if we will have to be buying extra kit for this.
I have never really paid much attention to RV etiquette when in the USA and now wish I knew a bit more about it. Are most campsites temporary or with permanent fixed homes?
Dreading having to reverse!! Any tips extremely welcome....
