Do family friendly hotels with rooms/private pools exist in Europe?

Can anyone recommend or suggest any family friendly hotels that have rooms with their own private pools (not the swim up type) exist in Europe?

We have a 5 YO and will be travelling with a baby this time (currently a few weeks old).
We normally do villa holidays but I'm not up for self-catering this time and 5 YO thoroughly enjoys evening entertainment and kids club when we once did a resort holiday.

Hope I don't sound stuck up, we save hard all year for a holiday.

We went last year all inclusive and had a private villa which was lovely.

Cascade in Lagos has a hotel, self catering apartments and villas with their own pools on all the same complex, I believe you can use all the facilities whichever you are staying in. We had an apartment, which are all clustered around the very family friendly sand pool and it was fab.

Sadly have only seen them as friends were staying.

The holiday village in Rhodes had some private villas with pools also all inclusive kids clubs and entertainment. Only one I can think of off the top of my head and it was a fantastic holiday

We've been looking at the green gardens in Tenerife but it depends on your budget....

They have several pools and a lazy river. Some of the family rooms have a private pool and some have just a gated garden.
To be honest I wouldn't have a five year old in a room with a private pool unless you are happy to a) lock him indoors or b) never turn your back for a second.

Mark Warner's Levante Beach Resort on Rhodes. You can get apartment with own private pool if you pay more than the price of a standard hotel room. Very pricey but excellent.

Google villas on resorts and you get the best of both worlds
James villas have quite a number

Sani Club, Halkidiki. It has a kids club, babysitting etc as well as various room options with private pools.
