I’d like a holiday villa in a town in Europe - do they exist?

Only villaplus holidays let you search for ‘cars unnecessary’. I’d like a villa with a pool in a town where we can release the teens to do their own thing and not drive me insane. When we’ve been to places like Majorca I’ve seen villas but I’m having trouble finding ones I can rent.
Got any recommendations for lively holiday resorts like this?

Try AirBnB?

Corralejo in Fuerteventura?

Airbnb doesn’t let you narrow it down by that filter unfortunately. It’s a good app for city breaks imo.
We go to the Canaries in winter so probably not there. I’m thinking Balearics or mainland Spain. A town with some nightlife for the older ones without relying on taxis or lifts. My mind has gone blank for places we’ve been over the years.
I’m tempted by the prices in Minorca but haven’t been. Is it a quiet place?

Love Menorca, with teens you’ll want to be near Ciutadella or Cala en Bosch

But it all pretty much closes down from October to May so depends when you want to go

Try holidaylettings or homeaway

Search air bnb by map view, you can see if it’s in the town or further out

Try 'shop in walking distance'. It's a pain, as that's our key criterion. If you zoom in on maps then can see which are in towns. Found good ones in Vias, south of France, and Bavaria.

We rented a villa in Santa Ponsa in Mallorca through Airbnb. We weren't in the centre of the town but it was an easy 10 minute walk down the hill to the main part with shops, bars, pubs and restaurants. There's a public beach there and plenty of villas with pools.
Hope you find something suitable!
