We are looking to go away mid-end October but will anywhere still be open?

We were thinking Majorca, Ibiza, Spain etc: basically anywhere less than 3 hours flight time!

Any ideas?

What do you want from a trip? Spain starts to get a bit unpredictable with the weather so if you look for guaranteed sun you need to go somewhere else.

How about a city break? You can go everywhere you want, in some areas you need to know that the weather may not the best but I find it a lot more interesting than being a week at a beach.

Obviously it depends on the age of your child/children but lots of cities are child friendly.

We are just wanting a holiday resort really: flat, bars, somewhere to walk etc. We have done quite a few city breaks but want a seaside holiday resort this time.

We aren’t too bothered about the weather/heat - although hopefully we will get a few 18-20c sunny days

How about the big Port D’Alcudia Bay Area in Majorca.
Stay at the Northern end and old Alcúdia town is 20 minute walk away.
