Annual travel insurance possible silly question

We’ve got a few trips planned for the next year so it makes sense to look at an annual policy.
2 of the holidays it’s only myself and DH going but one of them DD will join us.
How do I arrange annual insurance for when DD comes? Do I insure us all for the year and whoever travels is covered? Or do I need to say who is travelling when?
Sorry for the possible daft question but I’ve only ever booked single trip before where I’ve had to name each traveler.

Why not get annual for you and DH, and single trip for dd? If you have any medical conditions at all, ensure they are declared and that the cover covers repatriation and other vital stuff - some of the policies included with bank accounts are rubbish.

If DD has a separate single trip policy you need to check what would happen in the event of an emergency abroad. I think I read somewhere that if say your DD had an accident she would be covered by her insurance for medical, repatriation etc but your policy might not cover you to stay with her.

DD is also travelling for a week on her own during this time. We aren’t all travelling together at the same time, some trips we are, some not. I’ll have to call and speak to someone rather than book it online in case we wouldn’t be covered by some technicality

We had this two years ago and I just booked aa single trip for DD extra. It is a bit more difficult as some don’t do children on their own and in our case I needed an extra for horse jumping.

But doable and fairly cheap, cheaper than having DD added to our annual one we had just for DH and me.
