Tunisia?

DH has been offered a posting in Tunisia, in Monastir. He is military.

I am aware that it’s not the safest country. Just wondering if anybody has been there?

I have only been to Tunisia on holiday a few years ago and loathed it.
Absolutely no way would I go again, I think it might be even more dangerous if military related

As a military posting is probably medium risk, not as high as Afghanistan or Iraq but significant risk of being targeted being military however in the military there's always risk I suppose. Yes I would be worried but I will be worried wherever dd is deployed (she still in training)

I think it will be an adventure for a few months! DH isn’t allowed to wear uniform to and from work. And it’ll be great for his career.
