URGENT PACKING HELP... Can I take pressurised Aerosol deodorant in checked in luggage???

Anyone taken sprays on recently??

We did. Plane didn't blow up.

However, I recall glancing over the list of things you couldn't put in checked-in luggage on the way back, and had to take out a gas cooker lighter (don't ask...) and put it in the bin. I think I'd have flapped about aerosols too had it been on the list. So I'm not sure it could have been.
