Help our card has just been cancelled due to fraud but have booked several hotels in the US on that card for the summer, will it be a problem?

Card thankfully cancelled and new card been reissued. Have paid deposits on quite a few hotels which have all gone through.

What happens with paying the remainder in the summer? Presuming we can tell them on check in and just pay with new card as we leave. Just worried bookings could end up cancelled for some reason or there may be problems I haven’t thought of.

It won't cause an issue. You just present whatever card you want on arrival at the desk.

Contact them now and explain. Ask them to put a note in your booking that you will be paying with a different card. Just in case.

We have booked on a card near the end of its life: expiry date. We have then paid with new cars. No one cares. They just want the money from any source!
