We're merging some sections into the Travel advice area

Hi all,
We’re doing some work on making the Talk boards more useful and user-friendly for both regular and new users. After looking at some stats for the site, we think we could boost activity on the whole by merging some of the lesser used sections.

We’re proposing to fold the topics in this section into the general Travel advice area.

This should increase the number of topics in the section - and hopefully lead to more posts and responses to members.

As in just one travel board?
I can understand fewer boards, but not just one. Maybe UK and days out, camping, short haul and long/mid haul?

I think the comments on how unwelcome this is, have been posted on the thread in 'camping'

I think you could merge some topics but there is the odd unpleasant poster who posts about how they think someone else's holiday would be rubbish. AI tends to get targeted and certain shorthaul destinations on longhaul or travel advice sections, if you add in camping I think that is highly likely to attract catty comments. Most people are lovely, its just the odd one or two. It's not people on the shorthaul board.
