Self catering

Decided to go on a self catering holiday abroad (lanzarote). We usually go All Inclusive. Just wondering how much money on average we would need for 2 weeks, 2 adults, 2 children (14yo and 11yo). TIA

Depends on if your planning to eat out for every meal or not? I think the prices are pretty comparable to eating out in the UK .

Thinking supermarket food for breakfast and dinner. Just eat out in the evening.

That will keep the costs down. I would try to find a large supermarket on the island and do a big shop on your first day. Have fun.

See if they have open markets the food may be cheaper veg fresher. In Spain where I go it’s hard to get fresh veg other than tomatoes and melon.
