Month long post GCSE trip next summer

Planning to take a month of parental leave following DD’s GCSEs next summer and thinking about options. There will just be the two of us so somewhere safe i think.

DD will be visiting Costa Rica with school for 3 weeks of next summer so im not considering Central America.

Would Macchu Picchu and the environs be too similar? Any other options? I was wondering about South east asia but i think it will be rainy season there

What about interrailing around Europe? You could see a few countries with a mix of beaches and cities.

Yes inter railing would be my vote too!

Where does she want to go? Surely this is a question she needs to answer rather than us.

Also are you sure she wants a month away “ just the two of you” after being away for three weeks in Costa Rica. That will be her summer gone if she’s starting college in September.
Does she not want to do festivals and get a summer job with her mates?
