Getting married June 2020 and a bit clueless where to go on honeymoon. We have discovered it will be rainy season in some places so obviously avoiding them
We like quite lively places with nearby things to visit during the day and also good beaches and warm. We will probably go for 12-14 nights.
So far we have looked at Bali, Vietnam, Koh Samui, Greece and Turkey but we are totally open to ideas.
Any input at all would be really appreciated thanks,

I would have thought that Dubai in June would be uncomfortably hot. How about California?

Coco's Hotel in Antigua is wonderful!

One night in Zambia would add a lot to your costs in terms of flights. Would it be worth it fir one night?

Bali is shit. It’s the Benidorm for Aussies!!!
Hawaii is ok but very disappointing. The sand is imported from Australia. I was amazed by the amount of homeless people there. However I found Pearl Harbour fascinating.
Do a road trip , lots of great European cities

Aruba is fantastic all year round there is a constant breeze which makes sunbathing on the beach lovely , the waters warm and the beaches are gorgeous , we stayed in the riu at eagle beach , theres so much to do , its a small island but a major cruise port so theres lots of posh shopping in the port which is only a short taxi ride away with loads of history and beautiful buildings . Eagle beach has great nightlife with plenty of shopping , bars and restaurants . We loved it and would visit again .

Aebj parts of it are. Kuta is Magaluf for Australians, but, like Majorca, not all of it is chavvy.

You don’t mean 1 night in Zambia do you? Surely not? Vietnam is a bit mainstream these days but good food and cheap! Lovely hotels I think. One night in Singapore is a waste of time too. Don’t do one night anywhere. Check the weather and plan. Most people do North to South and a beach.

Sundaychiller · 20/05/2019 15:50

No not one night in Zambia :) I meant either or.

The one night in Singapore came about when we saw that some flights had really long lay overs so thought we could take advantage. Why is it a waste of time do you think?
Thanks for your input I appreciate it.

I just think you leave the airport, sleep in a hotel and then go back to the airport. What’s the point? I’m assuming Vietnam can be a direct flight if you want?

If you go to a city it seems a great shame not to actually see what it has to offer. Some lay overs are literally spent in the airport.

Vietnam and Zambia are utterly different! I would try and work out what you really want to see most of all. Wildlife and possibly Victoria Falls (great lodges there) or Vietnamese culture. Whichever you choose it will be great!

Aruba is fantastic all year round , its a dutch island off the coast of Venezuela ans is on the cruise route . Its only a small island but theres loads to do and it has a great nightlife .
We stayed at the rui all inclusive and would recommend it to any one .
If you want to get out and about there are the usual trips , horse riding , scuba , snorkling and shopping .
