Best website for comparing holiday?

I'm trying to find the best summer holiday for us and finding it hard to narrow down! I feel like I'm really fussy about certain things but not so much about other - like everyone I guess - but there are so many options.

Without listing all my many requirements on here (unless someone wants to look for me?) where would you generally start looking for a August, short haul family break? I'm happy to book a package or separately - I don't mind which country we visit either 😂😂😂

If its for this August then you are pretty late looking tbh so the choice of whats available and the prices is going to be more limited.

I tend to start with the country I want, go on their tourism website, buy guide books and then work out where I want to stay by plotting the things I want to see on a map and working out distances. we usually end up doing a 2 or 3 centre holiday so then pick places to stay in those areas using websites like Airbnb, homeaway etc.

Unless you start with a country then you are going to find it hellish.

I’d look at websites (on the beach for example) where you can examine each bit of the package. I’m very fussy over flight times, airlines and transfers more than accommodation say so I can dismiss certain airlines (Ryanair Grin ) if I want to.

If there was limited availability it would be easier mummy but there was 1000's of holidays available in August! In the past we've really wanted to go to specific countries and we've done what you are describing but this year we just want a bit of a break - anywhere sunny!!

Like you fin I'm fussy about flight times (not particularly airlines, I can handle Ryanair for a 3hr flight as long as it's at a sociable time!), transfers, the room in the hotel etc - I will look at onthebeach thanks
