What ID is needed for 11 week old travelling Belfast to Glasgow?

Does anyone know if I have to have photo ID (passport)? Or would a birth cert suffice?

Airlines would be Easyjet and/or Flybe.

If I took the boat, am I right in thinking I wouldn't need any ID at all?

Has anyone done this, had any experience of this?

No ID needed for the boat.

Easyjet website says 'Children under the age of 16 do not need to show ID on domestic flights'. This is a domestic flight.

I take that route all the time and you don’t need children’s ID.

They can fly with just a copy of birth certificate, although you may not even need that, these airlines will often only look at adult passports when we travel with them.

A driving license for yourself and nothing for the baby.
