Jet Kids Bed Box for an Eight Month Old

Has anyone used the jetkids bed box with a baby under 1 year old? It appears from blog posts, photos and descriptions on 3rd party seller sites that it was originally intended to be used from birth. However, on Stokke's official page they state that the bed function is for two years and up.

Anyone have any experiences to share? Our son will be 8 months travelling, 9 months returning, and our airline allow the jet kids baby box (CX). They can provide a bassinet, but for such a long flight I'd rather have the extra seat, and they say babies over 6 months might be uncomfortable in the bassinet. We travelled in one when he was 5 months old and he was a bit long for it already.

I have just sold mine. We used it from birth until 5 years. It is amazing. Maybe they say from 2 because the sides are flexible and there is a chance that a smaller baby could roll over them. I dont know where they would go though as there isn't really a gap. I would say yes go for it.

Thanks a lot for responding. Think I'll go for it. Do you have any idea if it can be used on the bulk head seats (those at the front of economy, no seats in front of you)?

I think so. It attaches to your own seat so I dont see why not.
