Hi there,

I'm off to Amsterdam for the first time with my husband next week for 4 nights. Any recommendations?

I'm 21 weeks pregnant also so may need to bear that in mind Smile

If you are going to do a boat trip I would totally recommend Flagship - they are a smaller company that go from outside Ann franks house. You will spot them with the orange jackets. Really knowledgable, fun guides and a lot more personal than the bigger boats.

Oh and Foodhallen! Loads of independent street food type stalls inside an old tram depot-super busy, great atmosphere.

Definitely visit the Keukenhof. It’s only open for two months of the year and it will be at its best right now. It’s quite easy to get there with public transport. holland-explorer.com/travel-keukenhof-amsterdam/
Right in the middle of the canal belt in Jordaan, there’s a little neighbourhood of quaint and quirky streets full of cosy cafes, independent boutiques, vintage shops, and artisan stores.

Keukenhof. Go first thing as it gets really busy.

Anne Frank House (it may be sold out but keep constantly checking online up until the actual day, as they release new ticket)

Good local pub nearby but can't think of the name?

I believe Delf is very nice last time we went we didn't have time to go, we went to Marken on a local bus, then ferry to Volendam then bus to Edam, easy in a day but check as Edam often has festivals on so worth looking out for one.
