Has anyone been to Sunparcs de haan in Belgium? Do you know how many slides there are in the swimming pool? Any recommendations or reviews?

Went to oostdunkirke last year and don't know whether to stick or twist!

Sorry I can't answer your question as haven’t been to either but would love to know if you recommend the one you have already been to in Belgium. We went to Duinrell this Easter and loved it. This was the first time we had driven to Europe and stayed in a park like this and it was a great success. I am now looking for alternatives for next year. Have 2 dc aged 8 and 12.
Sorry to hijack your thread and hope someone comes along soon who can answer your question!

No idea, but my husband is currently in Belgium and it's snowing so make such its much later in the year.

@mummyhaschangedhername - not going till August so hopefully no snow!

@eleanorrugby - yes would highly recommend sunparcs in oostdunkirke, which is why it's hard to decide whether to chance somewhere else! Less than an hour really easy drive from calais, brilliant pool and lovely beach. Easy drive into bruges as well. A slightly simpler version of centerparcs

Thanks for your reply. Will definitely look into it for next year, sounds great. It's hard to know whether to chance booking somewhere else isn't it?

We went to Sunparks de Haan when DS1 was little - I think it was in 2010. It was a lovely, easy holiday with a toddler. The pool was nice, but I don't remember how many slides there were. DS1 was too little really for the wave pool, I do remember that. It's an easy drive from southern England anyway and you can go to Bruges for the day, which is lovely.

Ive been to the one in de haan which I thought was nice. Nice big pool. We enjoyed it. The beach was quite close and really big and beautiful, although it was february when we went, so freezing

Thanks @juneau and @branleuse
