As much as we loved Mark Warner holidays before school kicked in - sports, general facilities, others children around - we can't stump up the school holiday price. Happy to go as basic as needed, just want to be active, with other friendly people and near water.
Can anyone recommend anywhere in Europe (preferably Italy, Greece, Spain, France but anywhere warm-ish) for July / Aug which has activities for kids and adults? Open to hotel, villa park, apartments, camping, etc. Would need a pool, preferably some cycling or running and near a beach but open to ideas.
I love meeting people, husband not as desperate to (busy job in travel) but our 7yo really needs to the company of other kids as well as just we oldies. Much as I'd prefer to go away with family or friends, it's a yearly struggle to find anyone as most have much older kids.
