Long haul ideas for April

Thinking ahead to next year when I have a milestone birthday...where to go with friends for an interesting beach holiday - as in things to see as well as lovely beach - but where the temperature isn't in the forties!

Any suggestions? Mind gone blank

We went on a cruise for my recent 40th around the Middle East. Whilst i love Dubai we also visited Abu Dhabi and the hotels & beaches were amazing as well as being slightly less 'Celeb Loving' like Dubai is at the moment. We were there with our 2 yr old and we would defo go back.
