Hotels in Sardinia (East or N/East)

Flying to Olbia for a week in June and looking for hotel recommendations please.

Car hire booked but don't really want to drive too far to the first hotel (if we decide to move around). We'd like a hotel near to the sea, restaurants nearby and not too far from decent scuba diving areas. Adult only would be ideal but this is always challenging to find in Italy.

We've been before but didn't hire a car so stayed in Porto San Paolo ( it was a cheap last minute break) and it was OK but probably wouldn't stay there again.

www.hotelcaladifalco.com/en/ This place was lovely. Easy drive to some stunning Costa Smeralda beaches. The same company has a number of resorts.

Hotel Costa Paradiso and Hotel Marinedda are very well positioned for scuba diving. Neither are adult only but neither are particularly family-centred. The Pelican Resort and Spa is adult only. I’ve never stayed there though.

Thanks TheresWaldo. I'd looked at that one but the hotel part only seems to offer half board which we don't want but the residence part is self catering. I'd rather be in a hotel but b & b I'mveryawkward

They look lovely Ricekrispie, especially the Marinneda. Just need to convince my other half that it would be worth it as again, it's priced for HB but we only require B & B.

When we stayed at Cala di Falco, we stayed in the Residence but booked breakfast everyday. It was also possible to book other meals as desired. Plenty of restaurants within a 10 min walk.

We've booked to stay in hotel cala di falco. I asked my OH to choose between that and the hotel marinneda as I couldn't decide. They both look lovely.

@TheresWaldo what was the residence like?? Can’t find much online about it....
