Which European city for cheap family break ?

We are in the same boat, did lots of research and found that anywhere that had cheap flights the accommodation was expensive and vice versa. We plumped for Lisbon in August in the end, can't wait.

Budapest

Montpellier in south west of France.

Nice - cheap flights, self catering air bnb in the old town & take train trips along the coast (it’s one line) to Cannes, Antibes & Monaco. There’s a very child friendly beach 10 minutes away in Villefranche
