Biking with a baby

My youngest turns 1 at the end of the month. We'd like to go out biking and I was hoping for advice regarding best way to take baby? Seat on the front of bike? Seat on the back of bike? Trailer?

My friends have been mountain biking with their DS since he was 6 months old ( but he loves it) and they use a seat on the back.

I used to take mine in a seat on the back, with her little helmet on, she lvoed it. Thje ones on the front look good int hat they can see more, but I would be worried about steering.

Thanks for the input guys

My thoughts at the moment are to go with a front seat so she can see more and I can interact with her more.

I put a one year old in a trailer and he loved it. Nodded off after an hour. I felt safer knowing he didn't have too far to fall if I lost balance.
