Mallorca w/ 3 and 5-yr olds - Camp de Mar/Banyalbufar/elsewhere?

We’re going for a week in August (hotel) - ideally we’d like a quietish resort with a beach that won’t get overcrowded and somewhere for the grown-ups in our party (grandparents) to wander to during the day when they’re tired of the beach/too hot!

We’ll probably be on half-board so don’t necessarily need to be able to walk to lots of restaurants but a couple of bar options might be nice. We’ll be hiring a car anyway so will need to park locally to the hotel. Santa Ponsa also looks nice, or maybe Puerto Soller? Any recommendations appreciated!

I’ve since looked further at Banyalbufar and although it looks absolutely beautiful, I don’t think it’s right for us with two small kids and grandparents who aren’t too keen on loads of hills/steps anymore. Paguera?

Porto Cristo has nice places to wander. The best hotel there is Insotel Cala Mandia

Thanks krispie! I should have said, sorry - we need to be near family who’re staying near Andratx, on the south-west coast. I like the look of Santa Ponsa and Paguera so am thinking we might stay there.

My daughter went to Santa Ponsa with small DC and hated it would never go back. I’ve been to Camp del Mar and found it a bit out of things - we had no car though.

Thanks Countmeout - what did she not like about it?
