DH and I are planning a trip to Paris in October - first trip away without DD since she was born!

I'd love to hear of your grown-up hotel recommendations (the more romantic the better). Happy to pay up to £250 per night.

And any other romantic Paris ideas welcome Grin TIA

Hotel Petit Moulin is definitely grown up and has the most amazing decor.

Thanks I will check it out!

We stayed at the holiday inn, it was pretty nice for a 4 star and about £120 a night, quite reasonable for very central Paris.

That's reasonable - I will take a look!

Anyone else have any other recommendations?

Hotel l’echequier Opera Paris

This one is fabulous. Very central to everything (about 12 mins on metro from Gare du Nord if you’re travelling on Eurostar), lovely restaurants nearby, air conditioned rooms (it was 37 degrees when we were there last July), free cold drinks mini-bar in room, replenished on request, glorious Belle Époque dining room and best hotel buffet breakfast. Also, the open top Paris bus tour stop (which thoroughly recommend for getting around) is 3 min walk away.

Sorry, tried to paste link but wouldn’t work.

We stayed at Mom'art last month, our first ever child-free weekend! We were at a concert at Le Trianon and it's walking distance as well as 2 minutes from the Sacre Coeur and Pigalle& loads of restaurants and other stuff. We loved the hotel (we plan to go back!) and area and it's not a bad price. Don't go for the spa though, it's a bit rubbish. We live in Brittany and drove in so couldn't comment on metro links, but it is near the Gard du Nord. www.hotelmomart.com/

We stayed here www.lemarquisparis.com/en/ Staff were super friendly, it was spotlessly clean and very reasonable, close to La Motte-Picquet Grenelle (lines 6, 8 and 10), and under 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower.

These look great, thank you!
Not too fussed about spa but breakfast buffet is a deal-breaker...
