How many feeds

Hi all,

Traveling with 5 mo Dd in May.

Had planned to be breastfeeding but for various reasons it doesn't look like I will be.

Just wondering how many formula feeds you would take with you in hand luggage? I'm thinking enough for the duration of airport and flight with a couple extra to allow for delays /spills. ( feeds every 3-4hrs during the day)

Asking around some people seem to think that's not enough others think I'm being over cautious.

Just wondering if anyone with experience has any thoughts

Are you taking ready-to-feed or powder?

I usually take enough ready to feed bottles for the duration, plus 2 spare.

Then I also take enough powder to make about 5 (!)extra bottles and some Milton wipes or cold water tablets that I figure I could use to clean bottles in an absolute emergency (assuming I can access water of course!). Written down it does sound a little OTT though!

I was planning ready to fee (for ease).

I might put in a couple of powder feeds too.

Milton wipes are a good idea. Never thought of that!

Thank you Smile
