New orleans airport transfers carseat

Hello, were travelling to New Orleans in may and I'm looking at airport transfers. We'll likely have 3 suitcases, 2 adults, 8 month old DS and stroller.

Pre-baby we'd just use publuc transport, but with the long flight and multiple luggage it'd be easier to take a cab/uber/transfer, but we're struggling with the carseat issue. We'd rather not take a carseat just for the airport transfer but no idea how to do it

I found online that uber XL had carseats, but only in NYC. If anyone has experience of airport transfers in NOLA with a young child that'd be great, thank you!

Take your own seat or take public transport- we live in the US with a baby and am yet to figure out an alternative either! We always take our seat unless travelling to NYC.

Thanks, I'd hoped not to do that, but I can't see another alternative than either of those, thanks for replying!
