Has anyone been to turkey?

Hello
Have you heard something about dental tourism? we are planning to go to Turkey for a friend's teeth. we found a company. even though everyone I speak to says this company is reliable and cheap , don't know.
I have never been to Turkey and don't really know anything about the country.
Any advice would be most welcome thank you

There are loads of dental and plastic surgery places around Marmaris. Loads of people went there to get stuff done. It wasn't really my kind of place (Marmaris & Bodrum) but I'm sure I'd like smaller more Turkish places!! Both these resorts were full of fake designer shops, places doing English breakfasts and Sunday roasts, tattoo shops etc etc which is not my kind of thing.

Which part of Turkey are you going to? What type of thing do you want to know?

I have been going to Turkey for nearly 30 years and lived there for a few years, in Bodrum. What do you want to know about the country?

I know a lot of people have dental work done while they are out there, it's available everywhere really and is quite good and not too expensive as far as I know, although I have never had anything done myself.

There are some beautiful resorts that are not so touristy, I love the smaller, more traditional places too :)
