Baby passport

Hi
I applied for a baby passport and I had to send a birth certificate, and my passport too. My passport was in my maiden name so I was told to put my marriage certificate in the envelope too. I have received the baby passport but no birth certificate or marriage certificate back???

Does anyone know if this is normal practice to send it separately?

Yes they return documents separately- recently got a passport for DS and documents came back a couple of days later.

Yes they come back separately. Are you sure you weren't just supposed to put your passport number on the form rather than send the passport itself?
