Mallorca weather in May?

Can anyone give me rough idea of what the weather is like mid to end of May please? I realise that nothing is guaranteed but assuming that the sun is out and its not raining, would it be usually be sunbathing weather or just pleasantly warm at that time of year?

We went a couple of years ago and had one week high twenties and could bath in the sea, cardigan/jumper in the evening though, and rain and 18 degrees in the second week for 4 days. I think that was an exemption of the rule according to our villa’s caregiver.

My colleague has a place on Majorca and they basically pack for all eventualities when they go at that time, in general he said the chance of rain is there but more pleaseant than actually hot.

I once went in May and it was hot. It did rain for several days though.

We went last year during the third week of May. It was mixed but mainly fairly warm, even hot a few days. Very little rain. Evenings were chilly though.
