Going round in circles and can’t decide. Can only justify one as $$$$ShockNot keen on heights. Which do you think teens would prefer?

Top of the Rock at sunset. Buy the passes before you go to save money and book your sunset time slot early that morning so you miss the queue.

How do you book slots with a pass?

Can you see the Chrysler buikding(my favourite)?

What about Empire State?

Top of the rock! You can see the Chrysler and empire state although possibly the Chrysler is a bit blocked of my memory serves. Sunset is the best time as one of the views is only central park which obvs isn't lit at night. Or failing that the daytime is also good.

if you go up the empire state after midnight (open til 2am I think?) there will be very few people so a great time to go, really special. Amazing view of the Chrysler from there

Top of the Rock is great, bit doesn't have that same 'wow' as Empire State if it's your first time. Queues at Empire State can be tiresome though.

One World is fab. The lift ride is something else.

We did both! TOTR at sparrowfart for fabulous views of Manhattan (more or less on our own up there!) and One World to watch sunset and the lights coming on over NYC.
