Squishy hold-all style suitcases?

Looking for the above. Everything I've bought so far only lasts one trip before the zips go/the sides tear/everything ends up falling out on the T1 luggage conveyor on return to Blighty.

Probably serves me right for only flying in the cheap seats, but does anyone have a recommendation for bags that will survive being sat on by small children then thrown around by baggage control?

Don't want to spend a fortune (there the problem may lie, I suspect).

Thanks!

I can help with half the problem-the north face bags are brilliant and have rucksack straps too... but they are expensive! Otherwise try ski/surf brands like volcom, quicksilver, roxy, dakine or sailing brands like quba.

I suspect the issue is using them as seating.

Thank you @moreismore - I'll give them a look. I had an old Roxy one that survived a lot of student trips so I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner.

Helpful, @GemmeFatale Hmm

We have these

Revelation Monza DLX Medium Trolley Bag Navy, Size: 68 x 38 x 34 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071W14PPH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_ORmTCbRJ31RWF?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

We’ve had them since 2013 and they have been on at least 24 planes. They are looking a bit roughed up now but still functional.

Would this type be any good?...they're incredibly light, and strong, come in a variety of sizes and colours and usually on offer on Amazon
Dh and I both have this size which we use for carry on and it hold a huge amount and easy to store:
