The current options are:
Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Amsterdam or Brittany.
Actually, I don't think Brittany is an option but dh suggested it.
We like activity and history. Dd hates the heat.
My preference is Northern Ireland. I want to do a driving tour. See the Titanic museum, the Giants Causeway, drive the coast road, see Dunluce Castle and the rope bridge wherever that is on the coast, maybe take in the hedge road famous from GOT. Is that doable? What else should we include?
I have less ideas for the channel islands, but I thought it might offer cycling opportunities, and dh and the dses would be interested in the ww2 stuff.
Amsterdam? Can anyone tell me what are the top attractions there, apart from Anne Frank's house obviously.
Any other suggestions? We only have a week, limited budget, live in the south west and ideally want to be able to get there by plane from Bristol. To be honest, for me, it is more about spending a week with my children who are all 16 plus, rather than the location.
