Hot enough to swim in Feb Half Term

I can see easyJet are releasing the flights for Feb half term 2020 and it has worked out very cheap buying their flights so far in advance.

I would like to plan a holiday hot enough to swim in an outdoor pool. DC are 5 and 3 and get cold easily. As do I.

I was thinking maybe the Canaries, never been before but it seems from reading other threads on here it won't be warm enough.

If Easyjet is not an option can anyone recommend where is the cheapest place to go for a hot enough to swim holiday. Thanks.

Cape Verde is a nice temp in Feb, 6 hour flight though but not stupid prices. Look at Sal or Boa Vista

Just make sure wherever you stay has a heated pool as it can be very chilly in Europe in Feb.

Thank you Bells and Fog.

I am wondering is somewhere further may be a better bet. I have found a week half board, flights and accommodation for under £800 pp in Abu Dhabi. I will research Cape Verde too. Has anyone been to Muscat or Qatar in Feb?

I've been to Abu Dhabi and muscat in Oman in February and from memory we had really nice weather- sunny and mid twenties degrees so not too hot.

Canaries, no further north unless you are going to Egypt/Middle East.

WinterHeatWave · 11/04/2019 03:09

Middle East you will still need a heated pool in Feb.
Muscat is lovely.

Thank you for these, very helpful to know about the heated pools.

ME in feb is lovely, most pools are heated/chilled dependent on weather anyway. We were in Muscat in Feb half term this year and it was perfect wether, also snorkeled in the sea and it was fine.

If you're looking at £800 per person and thing of the UAE I would advise going AI as food and drink is eye watering expensive. AI there is not like AI in Europe it's amazing with a very good choice of restaurants and premium drinks. There are some good deals if you look away from the high street tour operators.

I have swum outdoors in Canaries in Feb.
