Any ideas for sunshine in February with a five month old?

We are hoping to get away for two weeks in Feb to the sun. Never having travelled with a baby before, does anyone have any good ideas. Thanks a lot!

We went to mauritius when ds was 11 months.
The flights were both evening/night and we got one of those flightcot things that attach to the wall. He (with a bit of medised) slept like a dream.
Mauritius was lovely and warm, great beach and pool at hotel.
It all went very much better than I could ever have imagined.
The supermarkets all had nappies (pampers) and jars of baby food etc etc.
I would really recommend it. It's almost like the holidays you used to go before kids.
I'd love to go back, but the thought of ds (now 2yo) on the flight is horrific.

We went to Lanzarote this Feb. It was nicely warm although not baking.

We enjoyed nice lunches out and early dinners and a bit of walking around. Also attempted an ill advised Camel ride with DS, although if you ask DH he will say it was a riot.

Having said that its not the worlds most exciting place and a week was enough for us.

We have been to Dubai and to Hurghada and Luxor, Egypt in February. Dubai wasn't scorching and it was windy. We also had one day on non-stop rain. I think this was unusual for the time of year though and we were just unlucky and it gave us the excuse to return in October . Despite the poor weather I would certainly not hesitate to return in February. Egypt in February this year was lovely and warm during the day but a little cold in the pools and cool (but not cold) in the evening.

I guess Florida would be fairly warm as would Mexico and some other Caribbean destinations.

Recommend Dubai too
