I'm off to Legoland on a Monday in June (not school hols). Can anyone tell me what queues are like on a weekday ? Would you still recommend a queue bot ?

Unless it clashes with a inset day for the local schools you should be fine without one.

It's an inset day for our school (3rd June ) so I'm wondering how many others it will be as well !

That's the Monday tagged onto the end of half term yes? We have an inset day that day, as does most of Berkshire by the look of it. I would expect Legoland to be pretty busy.

I’m also thinking of going on a weekday in what will be term-time (sometime in early July) - will a quebot thing be best then?

I’ve not been before and heard awful stories about the queues but it was always on a weekend/holiday.
