Best way to get unlimited data and 4G in US

Going for a month with 3 teens. Need to be able to text and FaceTime my mums too.

We all have unlimited data contracts with Three, and US is included in that .

I got a PAYG SIM from Three and used that in my phone. I preloaded it with a £15 data and calls bundle, and barely used any of that allowance in a week.

Is that limited to 3G?

with Three you can have free roaming in USA that includes up to 12GB data, calls and texts to UK numbers come out your allowance as normal as if you were in the UK. That's for PAYG or contracts ( you can do 30 day rolling contracts so not tied in for a year, you can cancel whenever you want ).

It's 3G and 4G depends on the country but according to Three's website 4G is available in USA. When choosing your SIM make sure it's not an " essential " package as those don't include Go Roam.

We have been fine with Vodafone. For £6 a day, you can do everything you would in the UK.

£6 a day is horribly expensive though for a month ! Just buy a 3 sim and you can roam in the US on the same rates as the UK.
