We are trying to decide where to go on holiday, can anyone make any suggestions meeting the following criteria....

Max 3 hour flight from U.K.

Sandy beach

Nowhere too busy (e.g. not a major city like Barcelona)... we are travelling with a 15 month old

Easy to get from airport to destination

Sardinia...stunning beaches and a small island . Also Italians love kids so will be a pleasure taking your baby out to eat etc

We went to lanzarote beginning of Feb with our then 14 month old, its abit longer than the 3hrs but she was fine on the flight. We did book her own seat as I got a flight approved car seat which the airline wouldn't let us take on but she was able to sit on the seat anyway and slept on me for naps. We stayed in Puerto del carmen, los pocilos right by the beach. It wasnt far from the airport, maybe 10min drive and it has everything you would need. We rented a car as didn't want to wait around for buses or taxis with a little one which was really easy and it wasnt that bad driving around think its cause there are so many roads that are one way! Really reccomend it!

Zoraida Resort, Roquetas de Mar on the Costa de Almeria in Spain. EasyJet fly to Almeira in just under 3 hours and from there it’s less than half an hour transfer.

I second Sardinia. It does depend when you are planning to go though.

Italy, or consider a French resort on the Normandy or Atlantic coast and drive, you can take all your stuff easier! Omaha beach was amazing when we went

If you are going in the summer, a package tour to Menorca would fit your criteria. There are plenty of resorts with sandy beaches there.
