City break June / July

Dd isn't one for the sun so thinking of doing a long weekend in a European city instead of a traditional summer holiday.

Not London, Edinburgh, Paris or Rome.

Somewhere cheap as chips preferably with some tourist attractions to keep us occupied.

Any suggestions?

Vilnius? I was there last year - beautiful city and not expensive.
Lisbon - one of the cheapest capital cities.
Krakow?

Budapest, Sofia, Bucharest, Belfast, Athens.

All can be cheap or expensive depending on your choices. All are nice places to spend some time!
