How much spends for Krakow

Hey all,

I'm going to Krakow for 4 nights in April, I've been before (about 6 years ago) I can't remember how much spends I took.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant so I won't be drinking, just wondering how much zlotys you would recommend bringing to cover food/days out?

Not after fancy trips or food, just the basic food and a trip to the concentration camps and Jewish quarter?

Thanks x

If they have cash machines, and I can't see why they wouldn't, I'd just withdraw the money or pay by debit card when I got there.

Unless you're going next week, you've got time to get a Starling card or one of a few others for the bank rate with no charges, if you don't already have one.

I think we went to auschwitz for around £40. I expect you can do cheaper or more expensive depending on if you want big group or private. Taxis are really cheap. Taxi from airport is a fixed price. Maybe 89 pln but can't remember for sure. Meals are around £5. Can def get cheaper and more expensive too. Don't eat in the hotel as that is always more. If you want really tasty polish food, I recommend Miod Malina which is near the main square. I love the potato pancakes and goulash.

You can just walk around the Jewish quarter. I actually think there may be free walking tours but Google and check.

The free walking tours are great : City tour and Jewish Quarter. I also took a paid tour of Schindler's factory. It was definitely worth it to get the most out of it.
