Park for Dogs near St George's Park Stoke on Trent

Hi after suggestions for a nice dog walk near St George’s Park.

My son is visiting St George’s Park in the Easter holidays. We are then going to the Peak District straight after so I will need to entertain my dog for a few hours. Does anyone have any suggestions of a nice dog walk or dog friendly cafe/pub nearby.

the silver circuit national trust walk is lovely and dogs are allowed. it begins at Barton under Needwood which is an 11 minute drive (according to google) from st geroge's park. all the best x
