Is BA Bronze Status really worth anything

So you get to pick your seats a week ahead, rather than 24h.
You get to use the Business Check in; which often has a queue anyway.
Priority boarding, but you have a seat anyway, unless you're fighting for space in the overhead lockers.

Is there anything I'm missing?

I have a few months left before my year expires, and will be 25 points short of Bronze status. My flight has an offer of an extra £55 to upgrade to business (3hr flight), and then I'd get enough points to reach Bronze. Is it actually worth it though?
Next year I'll be flying Long Haul more often, but doubt I'll have the cash to upgrade to really rack up the tier points.

Will the long haul flights definitely be with BA and would you normally buy seats? If so you can select them for free 7 days before if you have Bronze so that justifies it. And you’ll get lounge access, fast track security and free food/booze for that one business class flight which isn’t terrible value for an extra £55. But for the most part, you’re not missing anything and bronze isn’t anything special.

I have Bronze and flew with BA long haul at the end of Feb. They've now stopped Bronze being able to use the business check in at LHR T5.

The only benefit is seat selection, if you're on a flight where it really matters, IMHO
