...starts on Saturday 14th July, running till Sunday 22nd. Check here for events near you.

Personally, I will be at Erddig (National Trust) near Wrexham this Saturday, and it's going to be great. We've got helmets, brooches and Iron Age roundhouses to make, and other activities will be going on, not least an early medieval re-enactment group.

Fun for kids of all ages! [cheesy grin]

Bumping this for Phoenix. There's some good stuff going on, and your kids will love it.

Thanks for that Phoenix...

DH had forgotten about it so thanks for the reminder. Weather permitting we may do the Castlefield walk in Manchester.

Ooh, have fun. It's taken off really well in the last few years, there are hundreds of events round the country.

Thanks for this Phoenix - I had no idea about it before you mentioned this. We went to Rockbourne roman villa today and it was free as we had dd Had a lovely time with a little trsil and a 'mini dig' the staff were lovely to chat too. It was very quiet though - such a shame really.
